And then what if a year later, I put out another book, the next one I want to work on once I finish this one… and all these middle-aged women everywhere wanting my goodies, not having known that the subdued romance is actually uncommon for me… suddenly start reading a vulgar serial killer novel

and choke my mailbox full of hatred.
